Our counsellors are dedicated to working with clients to increase their sense of wellbeing. This increased sense of wellbeing impacts all areas of life, including family, relationships and careers. Counselling and Wellbeing Scotland's philosophy is that Wellbeing is achieved through balance of four interconnected elements (see diagram).
As we all know, life is full of ups and downs and many changes. As our circumstances change, so do our attitudes, hopes and needs. These changes cause imbalance and, unfortunately, many of us ignore our need to re-balance and take stock. When left unchecked for long periods, these imbalances can contribute to more serious problems.
This makes sense when we think of our cars and homes: they require regular maintenance. So do we!
